The early morning sun shining on Chambers Pillar was really lovely.

On our way out of the reserve we saw our first lot of wild camels.

On the way to Alice Springs, we stopped at the Napwerte Ewaninga Rock Carvings Conservation Reserve which protects petroglyphs - rock engravings made by the early Arrernte Aboriginal people

Trails in the sand.
Golden everlastings.
From here we continued on towards Alice Springs first joining the Stuart Highway.
I enjoyed the drive into Alice through Heavitree Gap which separates the East and West MacDonnell Ranges.

Inside the shopping centre.

Todd Mall and surrounds.
